PSI offers two types of government membership:
Full Members pay an annual membership fee for unlimited participation in PSI stakeholder dialogues, substantial input into PSI activities, reduced fees to the PSI Forum, free access to PSI Networking Calls, and other benefits. View the list of Full Member Benefits

Affiliate Members
pay no membership fee but do not receive Full Member benefits.
There are currently 45 Full and Affiliate State PSI Members, and over 100 Full and Affiliate Local PSI Members, representing over 95% of the US population. View the PSI membership list and map

To Join PSI
To become a Full or Affiliate member of PSI, a State or Local agency must do the following:

State agencies must submit a basic letter
from the head of their environmental agency requesting membership. Local agencies may submit a basic letter from general agency personnel.

Full members must pay an annual membership fee
pertaining to their population size.
